This investment comes at a crucial time when employee engagement is increasingly vital for global enterprises. With a staggering 59% of workers reportedly disengaged at work, leading to phenomena like "quiet quitting," ContactMonkey's solutions are more relevant than ever. Founded in 2010 by CEO Scott Pielsticker, the company has shown impressive growth, expanding its reach across Canada, Europe, the US, and Australia. The platform's integration with popular tools like Microsoft Outlook, Gmail, and various HRIS systems positions it uniquely to enhance workplace communication, especially in remote and diverse team settings.


Updata Partners invests to help ContactMonkey meet increasing demand


TORONTODec. 7, 2023   ContactMonkey, the internal email communications platform, today announced the completion of a Series A investment of $55 million from Updata Partners, a leading growth equity firm.

The funding comes as employee engagement is more critical to enterprises than ever: the BBC reported that 59% of global workers report being not engaged at work, which can lead to "quiet quitting." A Gallup report found that disengaged employees cost the global economy around $8.8 trillion.
