Astrix, a Red Bank, New Jersey-based provider of staffing and technical consulting services focused on the life science sector, acquired Orbis Lifesciences Consulting, a consulting and support services provider based in Ireland.

Orbis Lifesciences Consulting, founded in 2017, provides strategic, regulatory compliance and validation, CSV, serialization and IT solutions.

“The combination of Orbis Lifesciences Consulting and Astrix made a ton of sense for the team at Orbis. We wanted to expand in North America, and Astrix wanted to expand in Europe,” Orbis Lifesciences Consulting founder and CEO Michael Gannon said.

The acquisition also facilitated Astrix’s formal expansion into Europe with the turnkey launch of Astrix Europe.

Astrix Europe will serve the life science community in several sectors including strategic consulting, planning, data transformation and governance, application and platform services data transformation, and scientific and IT staffing.
