Tola Capital Leads Round in High Growth Hybrid Workplace Company Creating Solutions that Put People Before Places

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Robin, the hybrid workplace company, today announced a $30 million Series C funding round led by Tola Capital with participation from existing investors, including FirstMark, Accomplice, Boldstart, and Allegion Ventures. The funding will help Robin continue its market-leading platform innovation, fuel international expansion, expand headcount and deepen strategic partnerships across its platform. In addition to the round, Robin announced the appointment of Ciara Peter to Vice President of Product.

“The future of work is here, and it’s hybrid,” said Aaron Fleishman, Partner at Tola Capital. “Robin’s commitment to helping enterprises create frictionless, collaborative and flexible experiences has positioned them as the preferred partner to chart the new way of working for employers and employees alike.”

The latest financing comes on the heels of rapid growth at Robin. The company saw active users in May grow at a rate of 390% YoY as hybrid work has become the new standard for many organizations. Adding to the rapid growth in users has been a string of hybrid work innovations, including the Workplace Announcements SolutionWorkplace Experience Report, and Global Hybrid Trends Dashboard. Leveraging Robin’s Workplace Index, the new dashboard is the only benchmarking tool giving employers visibility into where other companies of the same size, sector and region stand on building the workplace environments employees demand.

“At Robin, we’re hyper-focused on creating solutions that fuel vibrant experiences – wherever they occur,” said Micah Remley, CEO, Robin. “The latest round is validation of that vision as it speaks to our investors' continued belief in the permanence of hybrid work and the criticality of flexible workplace management tools.”

To continue to meet the growing demand for these tools, the company appointed Ciara Peter to lead the product and design team. A product and design expert for companies like Salesforce and Box, Ciara has nearly 15 years of experience bringing consumer-grade experiences to enterprise products at scale. Her team will focus on platform innovation, international expansion and making it easier for companies across the globe to bridge the gap between workplace guidelines and employee choice.

“With the addition of a proven leader like Ciara to our team, we’re poised to help more organizations of all sizes and locations take the leap to hybrid work and gain new insights that solidify company culture in the new normal,” added Remley.

Robin’s focus on platform design, quality and functionality has led to 2.2 million monthly desk bookings in May 2022. The company helps thousands of teams across 80 countries and six continents succeed with hybrid work, including Toyota, Mailchimp, Fender, and Peloton. Today’s round brings the company’s total raise to over $59 million.
