CareerBuilder and Monster have officially completed their merger, forming a stronger job board with greater reach and scale. The merger unites two trusted brands to better serve job seekers and employers in navigating the evolving talent marketplace. The newly formed company's leadership includes key roles such as Chief Technology Officer Dinesh Arora, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer Scott Blumsack, and Chief People Officer Brian Burbrink. The merged entity will operate under the name "CareerBuilder + Monster," with both websites continuing to function separately for now. More details about branding will be revealed in the future.

CareerBuilder and Monster close combination, creating stronger job board for talent and employers

CHICAGOSept. 16, 2024 -- CareerBuilder and Monster have officially finalized their merger following the completion of all necessary regulatory approvals. This strategic combination unites two established and complementary brands to create a more expansive and influential job board. By merging their capabilities, CareerBuilder and Monster are better positioned to leverage current market trends and drive growth.

PJT Partners Inc. served as financial advisor and Sidley Austin LLC served as legal counsel to CareerBuilder on the transaction. Jefferies LLC served as financial advisor and Jones Day served as legal counsel to Monster on the transaction.
